AMBASSADORS


A student initiated extracurricular program for all enthusiastic middle and high school cellists to share their passion for the cello by establishing or joining a Texas Cellos Ambassadors hub at their school

Each ambassadors hub will be autonomous and self designed by students who will have access to Texas Cellos executive staff.

  • PURPOSE

    A program for enthusiastic high school cellists to grow by connecting with other musicians, and promoting the cello through student led performances and outreach across the state of Texas.

  • LEADERSHIP

    Discover the untaught roles of being a musician and running an organization in the 21st century. Learn to recruit musicians, program concerts, schedule rehearsals, book venues, and successfully market a performance to a general audience.

    Guidance by Texas Cellos Foundation executive staff as student leaders independently organize at least two outreach performances i.e. at elementary schools, hospitals, nursing homes, and non profit events.

    At least one formal cello choir concert in spring 2024.

    Learn to schedule at least four rehearsals.

    Regular check-ins with the executive staff.

    Professional coaching for hub leader and groups.

    Entrepreneurial statement of initiative, community hours, lucrative gains, and recommendation letters.
